2024 Leadership Academy 

Planning for the future and motivating a team to join you along the way are the hallmarks of a successful leader. Incorporating scenario-based experiences under the guidance of nationally-recognized eLearning champions, the ITC 2024 Distance Education Leadership Academy will build on the American Association of Community College's six designated leadership competencies to expand your leadership skills. Participants will return to their schools with an individual learning and leadership plan!

When: Monday, July 22nd - Wednesday, July 24th, 2024 

Where:  Morrisville, NC 

Academy Sessions: Wake Technical Community College - RTP Campus Morrisville, NC

Accommodations: Hyatt House Raleigh Durham Airport

Complimentary breakfast and complimentary shuttle service to and from the airport, and anywhere within a five-mile radius of hotel.

Who:  Distance education directors and program managers, Faculty and professors with a new distance education leadership role, Academic leaders responsible for distance education, and Instructional designers and technologists with leadership ambitions!

How to Apply:  The ITC will select a group of up to 20 distance learning leaders to participate in its 2024 Distance Education Leadership Academy.

*Deadline to apply is Saturday, June 1st. Applicants must include a letter of nomination from his or her institution and a one-page explanation what he or she would like to gain through participation with their fellow academicians. 

 Registration: ITC will send an invoice to each participant chosen to participate in the 2024 Distance Education Leadership Academy.

ITC Members: $950
Non-Members: $1,075 (Includes individual membership for 1-year)
Non-Members: $1,345 (includes membership for your institution for 1-year)

The Leadership Academy finishes with a Capstone Project where individuals compose a leadership plan.
