Join us in Charleston, South Carolina, March 2nd-5th, alongside colleagues from across the country at  ITC’s 2025 Annual Conference - eLearning, “Imagination and Innovation.” This is the friendliest and most comprehensive annual conferences for eLearning practitioners, with an opportunity to share and celebrate state-of-the-art educational strategies and technologies that advance the profession of online instruction!
 
The 2025 Keynote Speaker will be Shelley Kurland. Shelley is embracing her pivot year. She transitioned to focusing on supporting the growth of others through consulting and coaching. She served as the inaugural Dean of Virtual Campus, the inaugural co-chair of the Innovation Committee at the County College of Morris, and the Chair of the Distance Education Affinity Group for New Jersey community colleges. 

 
Shelley has been an educator since 1999 and involved in distance education since 2003. Shelley’s areas of expertise and research interests are in leadership, distance education, active learning, faculty learning, and the use of technology with pedagogical considerations. She uses the question, “Is this the best for the student?” as the compass for her professional work. Shelley holds a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science and Sports Studies from Rutgers University, a Master of Arts in Teaching with a concentration in Special Education, and a Doctorate of Philosophy in Teacher Education/Teacher Development. Both postgraduate degrees are obtained from Montclair State University. She is the co-editor of the book, From Grassroots to the Highly Orchestrated: Online Leaders Share their Stories of the Evolving Online Landscape in Higher Education.
