Anyone may submit an article to be considered for publication in the Journal provided they own the copyright to the work or are authorized by the copyright owner(s) to submit the article. Prior publication must be disclosed. Authors retain copyright and permission to republish but grant ITC a perpetual use derivative works license and authorize online publication in the Journal and such other uses as may benefit the membership of the ITC.
Research involving human subjects must have been approved by the authors’ institutional review board (IRB) or equivalent and such approval must be clearly disclosed.
- Target audience should include instructional designers, online instructors, and distance education administrators in higher education, preferably (but not exclusive to) community colleges.
- Abstracts of approximately 200 words
- Main text of approximately 3,500-5,500 words are recommended but shorter works will be considered. Works of longer than 6,000 words are unlikely to be reviewed.
- Tables and figures are encouraged and should be included inline with the text, not separate
- About the author(s) of approximately 150 words
- APA style required
